Amherst County Public Schools (ACPS) is proud to host its annual “Pack the Bus” School Supply Drive to support local students and families as they prepare for the 2025–2026 school year.

The community is invited to join ACPS on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Walmart in Madison Heights to donate new school supplies. The event aims to collect essential classroom items, including pens, pencils, notebook paper, spiral notebooks,
composition books, folders, erasers, crayons, markers, and scissors.

“All donations received will be distributed directly to ACPS students and families,” said Dr. William Wells, ACPS Superintendent. “We are grateful for the continued support of our community in ensuring that every child starts the school year equipped and ready to learn.”

This initiative is part of the division’s ongoing commitment to ensuring Every Child has the tools they need to succeed Every Day!
